Yutong Showcases Electric Mobility Solutions for Diverse Operating Scenarios at Singapore SUMW 2026
From November 4 to 6, Singapore Urban Mobility Week (SUMW) 2026 is taking place at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, bringing together transport authorities, public transport operators and industry stakeholders. Under the theme "Think Eco, Move Green," Yutong is showcasing its premium battery-electric buses, the E12 and C11E, alongside a split-type liquid-cooled charging system, presenting electric mobility solutions for urban public transport, commuter and tourist services, and charging needs.

Addressing Diverse Operational Needs with Passenger Capacity and Operating Efficiency
The E12 and C11E on display are designed for urban trunk routes and commuter and tourist transport, respectively. With a focus on passenger capacity, driving range and long-term operational requirements, both models offer battery-electric solutions tailored to customers' real-world operating needs.
· The Yutong E12, a 12-meter premium battery-electric city bus, is designed for urban trunk routes and high-passenger-volume operations. Equipped witha 528 kWh battery and a maximum passenger capacity of 82, the E12 combines high passenger capacity with substantial battery capacity to meet the demands of frequent, high-density urban bus services.

· The 11-meter premium battery-electric C11Eis suited to corporate commuting, group travel, tourism and short- to medium-distance shuttle services. It offers a driving range of up to 420 kilometers, a designed service life of 2 million kilometers and a 10-year anti-corrosion warranty, providing durability to support long-term operations.

To meet the daily charging needs of battery-electric vehicles, Yutong is also showcasing a split-type liquid-cooled charging system with high-power fast-charging capabilities. A single MCS charging connector supports a maximum current of 1,800 A, while a single CCS charging connector supports up to 800 A for short periods of up to 10 minutes, helping reduce charging time.

Advancing Green Mobility and Making Electric Transport Part of Everyday Life
During the exhibition, Yutong is hosting a "Green Mobility Challenge," inviting visitors who travel to the event by MRT, bus, bicycle, on foot or bycarpooling to share their commuting choices. Participants are also encouraged to share their vision for green mobility through Yutong's official social media platforms, highlighting the environmental value of everyday travel choices.

In Singapore, Yutong battery-electric buses have already become part of daily public transport. In April 2020, the first batch of 10 Yutong battery-electric single-deck buses entered passenger service in Singapore. In 2025, Yutong secured the contract for the battery electric bus project, supporting Singapore in developing its green public transport ecosystem.
At SUMW 2026, Yutong is presenting electric mobility solutions for diverse operating scenarios while strengthening engagement with industry partners and the public. Building on its presence in Singapore and looking to the wider Asia-Pacific region, Yutong continues to work with stakeholders to advance public transport electrification through products and services tailored to operational needs, making more efficient, reliable and sustainable mobility part of everyday life in more cities.
